Clean Sex Toys By Playing With Them in the Shower!

Every guy or gal that owns sex toys knows that cleaning some of them, especially male masturbation sleeves can be somewhat of a pain in the ass (pun intended).

I have found the best way to clean your sex toys is to play with them in the shower. The next time you're hopping into a hot steamy shower, bring your toys with you! Not only is it much easier to clean them in the shower than the bathroom sink (or kitchen... yep, guys can be gross), but you can jack/jill off while taking care of your toys.

As most of us know, or find out after purchasing dildos, vibrators or male masturbation devices, you have to keep those adult toys clean! If you don't, they can begin to smell, or even worse, grow bacteria from fluids remaining in/on them for extended periods of time.

My preferred method for cleaning my Fleshlight is remove the sleeve from the case and pump some body wash into it, just like using your favorite sex lube. While heavier sleeves like a Fleshlight tend to flop around without the case holding their shape, it won't matter much once you insert an erect penis into them. Not to mention, it provides a great sensation to penetrate the sleeve and give yourself a full end-to-end stroke letting you enjoy every texture transition you may otherwise not get to feel. I am not small by any means, but since Fleshlights are about 9 inches deep, most guys never get to feel the entire length and texture variation. That is, until you take one in the shower to clean it without using the case ;)

I tend to do the same with my wife's dildos and vibrators, if they are not cleaned in the sink immediately after use. Probably looks a bit odd watching a your husband stroke a soapy rabbit vibrator in the shower, but it is what it is. Just make sure your toys, vibrators specifically, are waterproof before trying to use/clean them in the shower. There's nothing worse than ruining a toy you paid a lot of money for by not realizing it will fail when exposed to excessive amounts of water or submersion therein.

Most adult sex toys come with instructions indicating hot water and or mild soap is the best way to clean your toys. When you put 2 and 2 together, the shower makes total sense. Most shampoos and body washes are very mild and generally safe to use for cleaning men and women's sex toys. Do not use soaps with specialty chemicals like anti-dandruff mixtures as those chemicals may have adverse effects on your toys. It's also a good idea to avoid using soaps with strong perfumes.
